Cupcake very much sees Coco as Teal's center. When she arrived Coco was this sweet girl trying to be brave and face things all alone and that. That is an impression that stuck, Cupcake is determined not to let her be alone and feels really guilty about missing the last few trauma games. Even if everyone was relieved she did, she wanted to stand by them :( What she can do instead is stand by Coco and comfort her afterwards, she's been trying to maintain a balance in Teal of everyone taking care of each other so nobody feels useless, but she's now feeling like that's backfired with Coco not being able to open up. They're not nice feelings. But she's not going to let them keep her down, she wants to help you Coco!!
Cupcake really does believe Coco is as strong as she tells her. She is honestly impressed by her resolve and the fact that she can keep smiling even in such desperate times, even if it's not always for the best reasons. She thinks Coco is smart and capable and would trust her with her life, if she still had her wayfinder then she'd already have a Coco D-Link (kind of a special social link that let's Aqua weaponise the power of friendship). Coco is just wonderful in all the ways and Cupcake wishes she had better coping mechanisms is all.

A-And it's not just because Coco adores everybody, because (DESPITE APPEARANCES) she doesn't, and it's not just because team (though that does help a bit). Cupcake and Almond arriving gave Coco more focus than she remembers having—she just thought to herself, I can help these people! These people are mine and I will do my best for them! BUT THEN THEY WERE BOTH ADORABLE AND COMPETENT AND SUPPORTIVE and she fell head over platonic heels.
Her feels for Cupcake personally aaare one big melting-pot of . . . mm, she feels that Cupcake is a genuinely very good, very kind, very strong woman! Somebody who isn't afraid to stand up and say 'no', m-maybe somebody who is almost too good for their own good. AT THE SAME TIME Cupcake is very human in that she does have doubts and insecurities—which really just makes all the other stuff that more impressive to Coco. P. MUCH CUPCAKE IS THE COOLEST BADASS EVER ERRYONE ELSE CAN GO HOME /)///(\ Also there is lots and lots of trust, which is why she let her walls crack as much as they did during their emotional terrorism session.

SHE LOVES HER SUPER HARD
